we say a prayer of your choice while scattering their ashes into the sea.

What to expect at your loved one's service...

The Celtic Stoirm offers private, respectable ash scattering memorial services at sea aboard our Celtic Stoirm. Our vessel offers a comfortable environment as we set out from the Belmar Manutti Marina, 3-4 miles out to sea.

Our Burial at Sea services takes approximately 1-1/2 to 2 hours, weather permitting.

We are able to accommodate up to six people for your personal service. This service costs $500, with a required, non-refundable $200 deposit.

Our Service Involves the Following...

Once we reach our general destination out at sea, the boat will be driven in a circular path at which time flowers are typically released into the center of the wake circle of water.
The Captain will then circle through the flowers and you and your family (and/or friends) will be advised when to deposit the ashes off the side of the boat.
Lastly, a third circle will be made, offering family and loved ones the ability to place additional flowers, along with performing any eulogies and prayers in which the family wishes to partake.
